It was really important to me that our new Springer Spaniel puppy's first experience of dog grooming was a positive one. I needed to know that he would be handled kindly by someone who knew dogs!
I spoke to several groomers, mobile, ones who visit the house and parlours.
The one that impressed me the most was Verity from Dial a Dog Wash. It was clear from our discussion that she was a knowlegeable dog owner and we talked about all the grooming options available - not just a short back and sides! Diag a Dog Wash visit the house in a specially designed van. Your dog is groomed, washed and dried all from just outside your own home, brilliant no hair, wet dog or dog towels to deal with!!
That was 12 months ago. Verity has visited several times since and our dog now greets her enthusiastically and returns looking smart and smelling great!.
